DOTC's ASec Lorenzo "Amboy" Formoso is the Chief Legal Counsel of the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT). His office is directly in charge of the NBN-ZTE project proposal and its purposes. He will guest on Rock Ed Radio and decided to take on our questions this Sunday. What is this NBN-ZTE project all about anyway and why is it in such hot water lately? Now is a good time to ask from all sides. for asec formoso - since the nbn deal was scrapped, is there any investigation within dotc that aims to determine whether there was any anomaly in the handling of the contract? meron po bang dapat managot dahil naapprove yung deal kahit na hindi sya dapat ma-approve?
What does TAN really do? Are you really transparent? do you check and double check on your member organizations if they are transparent? Are you nationwide? Can any organization join? even student orgs?

Sir, can you tell the listeners exactly what the current plans of your office are in connection with this present issue? I mean don’t you think it is only expedient for you to issue statement or statements that would give light to all these controversies?
Or….are you bound by those in higher offices wherein you are only to perform actions (i.e. answer inquiries etc.) if you have their permission?

Did the conflict in the Spratlys affect the deal?
Sa tingin nyo ba may iba pang intention si Mr. Jun Lozada besides sa pag witness sa deal? Parang napupunta kasi sa pagpapapopularidad eh.
Since nalalaman namin na meron ding deal ang RP and China concerning the Spratlys, shouldn't we also investigate about it?
For me, the ZTE thingy won't be where it is right now if not for media exaggeration and of the people's want to know the truth, however bended it is.
Why did GMA cancel the ZTE deal when as Formoso claims there was nothing wrong with it? And if NEDA had no issue with ZTE why would DOTC have to do their own study?
To Formoso: Millions were earmarked for Mendoza so stop defending him. Oops you just mentioned that you're defending yourself. Really? Why?
Sir Amboy: If you have the expertise in telecommunications why do we need China in this deal?
