Aug 31 on Rock Ed Radio>> Still About Peace

Let's talk to Robert Francis Garcia, author of "To Suffer Thy Comrades."Former NPA guerilla, Bobby Garcia published this gripping narrative of his journey as a young man in the CPP-NPA movement.

Today he is an educator, a writer, and a long-haired yogurt maker. (No, he is not the gay director of Cinderella, the musical. Iba yon.)

We really can't describe the book nor the author here, we're afraid we won't do it (nor him) justice. But we certainly hope that the proper authorities will give him, literally, that.(just google)

Question: What is your rebellion about?Post, share and tune in on Sunday @8pm. NU107.5 FM.

August 17 on Rock Ed Radio >> KAMUSTA NAMAN CAGAYAN?

Sige nga, anong alam mo tungkol sa Cagayan de Oro?

Kilalanin natin ang ating (literal) na bayan. Ang mga probinsya ay ating iisa-isahin sa pamamagitan ng usapan.

Nominate who you think will best represent your province or region. (ex: Kidlat Tahimik - Baguio. Ambeth Ocampo -Pampanga. <--- haha parang byuti kontes.)

Ano ang number one produce ng CDO? (clue: hindi ham)

August 10 on Rock Ed Radio >> Nagbabasa ka pa ba ng PERYODIKO?

Kausapin natin ang bandang Peryodiko. (Vin Dancel, Simon Tan, Abe Billano and Kakoy Legaspi)

Nagbabasa pa ba sila ng dyaryo? Ikaw, anong binabasa mong dyaryo?

Naniniwala ka ba sa lahat ng nababasa mo sa dyaryo?

Tutugtog din ang Peryodiko, syempre.

Masaya 'to.

Joee, the companion and bandmate of Tara, the musician who got shot during a jeep hold up, will join us on ROCK ED RADIO tonight to talk about what happened and how we can help.
