Feb 3 on Rock Ed Radio >> "Sibling Revelry*"

There are many Psych 101 theories on the effect of birth order on our personalities. So let's get to the (casual, somewhat) bottom of this! Let's talk to siblings in the music biz. LC, Cero (Reklamo) and Marco (Paramita, Dr. Mindbender) de Leon. Siblings all.

Note: We also invited the Yuzons (Yan, Pupil & Yael, SpongeCola) and the Sergios (Japs, Rivermaya & Dok, Pupil) as well. Let's hope they can make it.

Lourd is very busy working on (yet another) magnum opus so he might not be with us for a bit --BUUUUT, Myrene Academia (former NU DJ Sandwich, Duster, Imago) will co-host that night. Whee.

(post comments now!)

Habang andito tayo, (with a balance of genders in the roster) pag usapan na rin natin ang mga parenting styles and how different they've become. Let's talk about how sons and daughters are raised by parents and how it affects our big decisions in life.

Note: We have expanded the show's topic and guest roster: We will have Richard Higgins of the US Peace Corps (6th child out of 7), Natalie Glanville-Wallis(first born) -a British writer/documentary producer, Serge Ferrand (middle child)- a French independent filmmaker joining us. They will tell us about birth-order-determined personalities in their own cultures. Maybe we'll find some similarities. We can figure out if it, indeed, is a small world after all. (tadah- haha. ingglisan na naman)

Note: As of Feb 1 -- Former Rep. Gilbert Remulla will join us so he can represent the youngest child. Haha. (sya lang available na kayang makipag-tagisan sa inggles sa mga 'to. haha)

Garantisado --
Masaya 'to.

Tune in, Sunday Feb 3. @8pm on NU107.

yung mga away sa mgakakapatid, especially when there's just the two of you, sa umpisa lang naman yan... kapag bata pa. pero when you mature you'll eventually realize na pwede mo rin palang maging bestfriend ang kapatid mo... pwede mong sabihan ng problema at higit sa lahat, pwedeng utangan ng walang interest at kahit matagal ang bayad. hehe

For Rep. Remulla: I know that you, your brothers and father are part of Upsilon, and that all of you are also in govt service. Does following their path make you feel you have less unique? Sumunod ka lang sa yapak nila o gusto mo din talaga

first child is the responsible, and "the MASTER" when parents are away from home...dominant...at lahat ng sisi nasa kanya...

middle child/ children is/are independent kase wala gaano ang atensyon ng mga magulang nila... attention seeker...

bunso: SPOILED BRAT! hindi tumatanda... favorite ng parents... makulit...MALDITA!

SUGGESTION:
THE ROY BROTHERS! kevin and karl... SERGIO BROTHERS: japs and doc...

uy i love this. 2nd yr psych student ako and we are currently discussing about personalities (yes including birth orders)
oldest child - a good nurturer and protective for others and also a good organizer but highly anxious and for them, he/she must always "right" while others are wrong..

middle child - they are highly motivated, and cooperative but highly competitive and can be easily discouraged.

youngest child - they are realistically ambitious but they have a pampered style of life, very dependent to others, and wants to excel in everything.

on the other hand...

only child - are socially matured but they have an exaggerated feelings of superiority and inflated sense of self..

i hope it made sense :)
according lang sa napag aralan naman, this theory is basically according to Alfred Adler, a psychologist.
