March 2 on Rock Ed Radio >> "Converts All Star" a mini-primer on SCIENTOLOGY (and a conversation on the openness to belief sets other than yours...)

Our show will be graced by the official representatives of the Church of Scientology in the Philippines. Brian Sunga, Public Exec Secretary, and Al Montano, Executive Director.

And to further complement our exploration of other belief sets, we shall also have Mr. Adam Fuqua to speak of the New Worlds Alliance. (Mr. Adrian Martinez will confirm his guesting soon.)

And to complete the round-table-talk of this"guess what, we're not all Christians" episode, Olympian equestrienne Toni Leviste will join in! She will talk to us about her recent conversion to Islam.

No doubt, an interesting night.

Writer Karen Kunawicz will co-panel with Lourd and Gang.

March 2 Sunday@8pm.

LOURD WILL BE BACK ON AIR! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeey.

PS: Speaking of converts ---------- We need to ask, would you like Jun Lozada to guest on Rock Ed Radio? We can send out an invitation to him if you want to hear from him or to ask him questions yourself. Post comment now so we can see if it's feasible.

for the scientologists: do you think tom cruise is a good representative of your group? are you proud of him or do you have reservations as well? is he the ultimate example of someone who is successful because he's a scientologist?

For ms toni: when did u convert? why did u convert? do you wear the muslim clothes, too? are u dating a moslem?

Anonymous said...

what's your moslem name, Toni?

What convinced you to join Scientology? How did it apply to your daily life?

Anonymous said...

is scientology good for your health??

Anonymous said...

I fully respect the Muslims. Did a paper on Muslim women back in college and met a number of converts from Catholicism. For Toni, if ever you feel the need in the future that Islam does not meet your spiritual needs, would you shift back to Catholicism?

By being Catholics, we are able to practice control more than when we are outright restricted. All glory and praise to God :) I respect religions other than mine but i hope prolethizers (tama ba yung term?) will be sincere in trying to open up their faith to others. Bottom line is, have faith. Recognize that there is a higher being above you.

Ex: Scientologist ka and Catholic as well, edi prob yun sa Catholicism in a way?

Pepeng Buraot: Who does the checking of financial capabilities of a man having 4 wives? Do they have an organization or agency?

The essence of Christianity is neither more or less a belief in the unification of the world in God by the incarnation.

How can a demented person become a Scientologist? Is an emotionally, spiritually, intellectually mature Catholic similar to a Scientologist?

Anonymous said...

A religion without mystery is a temple without God.

If there's equality in Islam why can't women marry 4 men?

Anonymous said...

Pls stop with the Scientology stuff, they sound very Matrix, masakit sa ulo.

Why don't pinay Muslims wear the headdress properly compared to Arab ladies (no strand of hair will show) - mykahiligan

Anonymous said...

Pare geek ka ba? ask ko, being a Scientologist ano magiging job mo?

Anonymous said...

Is it true that music like pop, jazz, rock rnb and visual arts like portraits and sculpture are not allowed in Islam?

Anonymous said...

Naniniwala yung Islam that there's only one God which is Allah, right?

Scientology is a hopelessly indefensible pseudo-religion. The first publication of the tenets of dianetics was in a cheap pulp sci-fi rag which Isaac Asimov instantly dismissed as a slapdash slew of shoddy psychological balderdash. When L.Ron Hubbard died of a stroke, the county coroners found huge amount of anti-depressants in his blood, so anong kagaguhan na self-improvement na pinagsasabi nila? Hubbard had 3 wives, the first 2 complaining of physical abuse. He was also quoted as saying, "I'm sick and tired of getting paid a penny for a word. Writers should get rich by starting their own religion."
