It is still International Women's Month so let's talk about this. What is feminism all about? Is it really what we imagine it to be? Bra burning, angry estrogen? We're sure it's a bit more than that, let's explore this one.

HOPE EVERYBODY COULD PARTICIPATE. :)
I've searched the meaning of feminism on wikipedia and I still don't understand it fully.
I tuned in to your show right after hearing the Sunday mass, it was first time to listen to rock ed. ang galing! astig din ung topic, second half lang naabutan ko. Gusto ko ung line ng isang guest when she said, "feminism is about having a control of your life" something like that. And Yan Yuzon's text message that what he wants is to raise human beings, if he would be having kids.
We may have different perspectives about feminism depending on our culture , but still what matters most is that the things that we take control are the ones that are serving us best. =)
Napangiti ako dun sa kwento ni Earnest Zabala about her daughter na pumatay ng ipis..hehehehe.astig na bata, tinalo pa ang mga boys, girl power!
Pag feminist ba, ibig sabihin mas dominant and girl sa boy?
Considered ba sila as feminist or patriarchal?
Feminism is simply believing in yourself, educating yourself of your rights and protecting it, in being brave to explore your potentials, to show and share it!
Totoo po ba na boys give their trust, but not their loyalty; while girls give their loyalty, but not their trust..?
I just wanna share, there was a feminist film fest that visited our school and they showcased films na talagang widened my idea of gender inequality and support for the idea of feminism. Films like IRON JAWED ANGELS and THE ROAD HOME.
Ask ko lang, does feminism apply to the thought na girls or women can also do what men do, even manligaw? Is is acceptable? O meron pa ring judgmental attitude about that?
Rather useful message
